Mr Alan Henderson AM    Mr Alan Henderson AM was appointed as Chairperson of the Commission in July 2010.     He has held a range of senior positions in the departments of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Treasury and Defence and has significant experience in Commonwealth-State relations.   In recent years, Alan has worked as a consultant.  He is currently Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Adjunct Professor, Centre for Governance and Public Policy, Griffith University, Queensland.
