Responsibilities

The Corporate Services Section provides a wide range of services for the Members and staff of the Commission.  Some of the services include:

Financial

  • preparation of budgets and financial records including annual financial statements;

  • purchasing function, including acquisition of assets;

  • payment of accounts; and

  • provision of management information for monthly Executive meetings.

Human resources

  • provision of HR advice;

  • maintenance of personnel records; and

  • salary processing for all staff.

IT

  • delivery of the IT strategic plan;
  • development and maintenance of the Commission's IT systems, including the assessment system; and
  • user support.

Administrative services

  • records management;
  • recruitment and establishment records; 
  • building maintenance and repairs;
  • travel arrangements.

The section also provides an interface between the Commission and the Department of Treasury to which the Commission is attached for administrative purposes.
