On 30 March 2011, the Australian Government commissioned a review of the distribution of revenue from the Goods and Services Tax to the States and Territories.

The terms of reference provide information on the objectives and scope of the review. The Review Panel comprises The Hon Nick Greiner AC, The Hon John Brumby and Mr Bruce Carter.  The Panel is to provide an interim report to the Treasurer by February 2012 and a final report by September 2012.
